Annamaria Bagnasco, a lecturer at the University of Genoa (UniGe) in general, clinical, paediatric, obstetric-gynaecological and neonatal nursing sciences, has been inducted into the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame 2026 of Sigma Nursing.

This international accolade, one of the most prestigious in the field of nursing research, recognises her scientific contributions in the fields of patient safety, ethics, fundamental care and nursing education, with a particular focus on translating scientific evidence into clinical practice and health policy.
