22/05/2025 Alessandro Armando, a UniGe lecturer in information processing systems, university contact person for the Cybersecurity thematic area, and director of the Cybersecurity National Lab, has been appointed as a member of the new technical-scientific committee of the Acn - Agency for National Cybersecurity, which has just been reconstituted through a measure signed by Undersecretary to the Prime Minister Alfredo Mantovano, the delegated authority for the security of the Republic.The body, chaired by the Director General of the Acn, will have the task of providing advice and strategic proposals in all the delicate areas of competence of the Agency. It will be made up of high-profile figures from the academic world, the national production system and the main associations active in the security of strategic Italian companies.Representing the university and research system, the committee will include, in addition to Alessandro Armando, Paola Inverardi (Rector of the Gran Sasso Science Institute), Antonella Polimeni (Rector of the University of Rome "La Sapienza") and Bruno Siciliano (Professor of Automata at the University of Naples "Federico II").(Photo credits: cybersecnatlab.it)
