UniGe is also playing its part in this emergency situation due to the Covid-19 virus.

For this reason, a campaign has been launched in support of studies on the new Coronavirus, involving the staff of the Polyclinic Hospital San Martino in Genoa.

Differently from other campaigns, UniGe funding focuses on research and not directly on health support, in order to pursue one of the main institutional missions of the university: to advance scientific knowledge.

The results of this research will be useful to combat secondary outbreaks and return infections in the near future.
