The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has published a call for expressions of interest for the establishment of a joint laboratory between Italy and Israel on the theme "PRECISION AGRICULTURE".

Proposals must be submitted jointly by Italian and Israeli research groups that have established collaborations (joint publications, exchange of researchers, joint projects or research consortia).

ADDRESSEES

Proposals may be submitted by a single research group or by

by a consortium.

• The Italian IP must be structured in a public or private university, in a consortium recognized by MIUR or in a public or private research center. The list of authorised research institutes and consortia can be found at the links indicated in the call for proposals.
• The Israeli IP must be affiliated with a research centre.

BUDGET AND DURATION

The funding may reach a maximum total amount of 200,000 euros for 3 years on each side. For the Italian part, the selected projects will be financed up to 50% of the estimated costs.

CAUTION: The proposal should contain a sustainability perspective.

DEADLINE (for Expression of Interest)

Only selected Expressions of Interest will be invited to submit the complete proposal (times and procedures will be communicated by MAECI).

The selection of projects eligible for funding will be carried out first at national level for each country, then jointly on the basis of the 'short list' of joint projects eligible for funding.

METHOD OF PRESENTING THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Applications must be completed in English jointly by the Italian and Israeli IPs and must be sent by each of the two parties in accordance with the respective procedures specified in the call for applications.

ATTENTION: The proposal must be signed by the Italian and Israeli Coordinators and by the legal representatives of the Italian and Israeli institutions.
