Genoa City Council, Istituto Poligrafico Zecca dello Stato and the University of Genoa are organizing CIE Day, a day to illustrate to citizens the various uses of the electronic ID card not only as an identification document but also as a tool for accessing online services.

It will be possible to apply for the issuance of the new electronic document (even if in possession of a paper ID card that has not yet expired) and request the recovery of the PIN and PUK if the data have been lost.

Sept. 13, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (without reservation)

Atrium of the University Palace, Via Balbi 5, Genoa, Italy

What is needed?

To apply for the CIE, you need to have a valid ID and a passport photo (45 mm high, 35 mm wide) or photo in jpg format, on USB media (400 dpi for max 500 kb). The CIE will then be sent to your home.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the electronic ID card of € 22.21 to be paid on the spot, in cash or by POS.
