MaPio - Digital Edition of the Manuscript of the Resolutions of the Community of Pioggiola is a project launched in 2021 with the aim of creating a digital edition of the register of decrees of the village of Pioggiola in the Giussani Valley (Corsica), a 200-year-old manuscript that chronicles the administrative organization of the small Corsican municipality during the French Revolution and shows how the events of great history affect the organization of peripheral communities.

The project directed by Anna Giaufret and Paolo Calcagno, with Francesca Ferrando, is funded by the School of Humanities of the University of Genoa and supported by the municipality of Pioggiola, with the collaboration of the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures and the Department of Antiquities, Philosophy and History.
