Registration is now open for the eighth edition of the European Union and the Law of the Sea - EULoS summer school that will take place, in English and face-to-face, from August 29 to September 9, 2022 at the University of Genoa.

The course consists of ten days of lectures, corresponding to 56 hours of face-to-face teaching, working groups and training activities, worth 9 ECTS credits. Also scheduled is a visit to the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy.


Topics covered will vary from introductory profiles on the law of the sea and the role of the European Union to more specific topics such as maritime delimitation, dispute resolution, the role of non-state actors, safety of navigation and protection of the marine environment.

As in past editions, speakers will come from diverse backgrounds: academia, the liberal professions, national, European and international administrations.


The cost for participation is EUR 500.00 and is intended to cover on-site lunch breaks as well.
