Arbolia, a benefit company created by Snam and Fondazione Cassa Depositi e Prestiti to develop new green areas in Italy, has carried out an intervention to replace and renew the tree stock in the municipality of Genoa.

The initiative was carried out thanks to the contribution of Axpo Italia SpA, one of the largest companies present along the entire energy chain, and the University of Genoa, which made available the green spaces inside the public park of Villa Giustiniani-Cambiaso, the city's historic aristocratic residence and home of the University's Polytechnic School.

The park redevelopment project and the interventions made will be presented on June 15, 2022, from 11 a.m., at Villa Cambiaso, Via Montallegro 1, Genoa.

The event will feature speakers:

  • Giorgio Roth - dean of the Polytechnic School
  • Adriana Del Borghi - pro-rector for sustainability
  • Matteo Campora - councilor for transport, integrated mobility, environment, waste, animals, energy of the City of Genoa
  • Salvatore Pinto - president of Axpo Italia SpA
  • Salvatore Ricco - managing director of Arbolia
  • Elena Mora - executive director of the park redevelopment project as well as curator of the Botanical Garden of the University of Genoa
