The University of Genoa, with the Department of Physics and the CPO - Equal Opportunity Committee, and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, Genoa section, are proposing the conference "Gender Asymmetries in the Academy" to activate and increase awareness of gender asymmetry issues in the educational (school, university) and subsequent career path, with a special focus on the gender imbalance present especially in the technical-scientific (STEM) disciplines.
