• ANTARCTICA 2020 - the exhibition

42 blow-ups on panels tell the mountaineering-exploratory-scientific expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula of January 2020, realized by Marcello Sanguineti, Manrico Dell'Agnola and Gian Luca Cavalli.

It was an exploratory, mountaineering and scientific expedition. During the expedition two ice and mixed routes were opened on previously virgin mountains and ski-mountaineering ascents were carried out. The scientific activity involved sampling the snowpack in various areas, starting at sea level glaciers and proceeding at regular intervals of increasing elevation. This will contribute to the analysis of the presence of new pollutants also according to the height and not only according to the geographical area.

The exhibition will be open until March 24, 2022, at the Galata Museum in Genoa, Galleria delle Esposizioni.

• Immense Blue - the docufilm

The footage shot during the Antarctic expedition inspired a docufilm that was selected in four international film festivals, won the Verona International Mountain Film Festival and the special mention of the jury at the Swiss Mountain International Film Festival.

The docufilm will be screened at Cinema Sivori, salita Santa Caterina Genova, on March 22, 2022, at 8:30 p.m., with a live performance by the musicians who made the soundtrack. Free entrance.
