Just a few days after the prestigious result obtained in the GreenMetric Ranking according to which the University of Genoa ranks sixth among the sustainable universities in Italy, UniGe reaches a further important milestone in the field of sustainability by obtaining the certification of the greenhouse gas emission inventory by the Certification Body RINA Services following an audit that took place in October 2021 and that had as its object the analysis of the study carried out on the years 2017, 2018 and 2019.

The certification of UniGe's carbon footprint lays the foundations for the definition of the University's climate strategy for the coming years.
