Scoperta neonata neolitica

Excavating in a Ligurian cave in the municipality of Erli, in the province of Savona, an international team of researchers coordinated by Fabio Negrino, UniGe professor of Prehistory and Protohistory, has discovered the oldest burial ever documented in Europe of a Mesolithic infant dating back to about 10,000 years ago.

The discovery has been published in Scientific Reports - Nature.
