UniGe invites you to participate in the second "Open Lab" event to present and introduce the University's laboratories and research infrastructures to the world of businesses and institutions in the area.

The protagonist of this event is the project"From basic research to the clinic" - development of new technologies for diagnosis, therapy, rehabilitation and assistance - funded by the Liguria Region under the POR FESR programme.

The project aims to strengthen the Bioengineering Laboratory in two areas of application of biomedical technologies, considered strategic:

• medical diagnostics;
• rehabilitation therapies and assistance to fragile persons.

To this end, the acquisition of new instrumentation is planned in order to improve its ability to carry out translational research and its attractiveness towards IRCCS and biomedical companies in the area. The medium-long term objective is to transfer the know-how developed in the research activities into products and services that are competitive at national and international level.

During the event, in which the project partners and the Liguria Region will participate, it will be possible to see the instrumentation, interact with the project team and get advance information on the next regional planning.
