UniGe and Costa Crociere have signed a collaboration agreement to train the next generation of qualified officers for the cruise industry.

Four students in their third year of the Maritime science and technology degree course who are qualified as Midshipmen will be able to undertake a period of embarkation of at least 4 months to complete the experience necessary to compete for STCW licences as navigation officer, engine officer and electrical officer.
