With a testamentary bequest, you can dedicate all or part of your estate, appointing the University of Genoa as your universal heir, while protecting the legitimate interests of your heirs and becoming part of the academic community and the history of the University of Genoa forever.

The bequest can be bound to a specific use such as for research, for scholarships, or free, leaving the University the choice of how to use it within its own institutional purposes.

Active announcements for study and degree awards can be consulted at the page UniGe Grants and Awards

You can leave your entire estate or only a part of it (testamentary legacy) such as real estate, shares, sums of money, investment funds, securities.
UniGe will assess the advisability of accepting the bequest or legacy with the benefit of inventory.

By agreement, the University will give updates on the use of the legacy to the family or executor.

The University of Genoa has set up a Bequest Management Committee with the task of identifying the best operational methods for the management of legacies made in favour of the University.
