The University of Genoa Listening Point - approved by the University bodies on 22 November 2024 and active since 10 February 2025 - supports and strengthens the network of bodies dedicated to protecting the university community and promoting wellbeing, with the specific aim of countering all forms of discrimination, harassment, abuse or gender-based violence within the academic environment.

Aimed at female students, students, technical-administrative and library staff, lecturers, researchers and researchers, the Listening Point offers individual interviews in a protected space, where it is possible to receive a listening ear, support and information following episodes of violence suffered, acted upon or witnessed.It also provides an initial guidance and basic information on legal aspects and on the most appropriate ways of contacting the competent authorities, the University bodies and the network of territorial services (Anti-Violence Centres, Centres for abusive men).

The Punto di Ascolto is located in Genoa, at Via Balbi 5, on the 5th floor, room 27.

Direct access:

  • Mondays from 12 to 14
  • Fridays from 16 to 18
