The Board of Directors determines and allocates annually to departments and schools, on the basis of the proposal formulated by the Academic Senate, the financial resources aimed at supporting and promoting teaching activities.
The 2024 allocation was made on the basis of a method, approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting of 19 June 2024, whose objective is: 

• in the case of departments: 
  • the support and improvement of the didactic offer of the courses of study;
in the case of schools: 
• the maintenance and improvement of the common services offered by the school to the departments in the didactic field

For this purpose, it was deemed necessary to give priority to the needs related to the operation of the didactic offering of the courses of study by paying attention to both the presence of teaching contracts and laboratory activities.The method for the distribution of resources envisages that the share of teaching contributions to be allocated to each structure is distributed on the basis of four indicators: 

1. the number of teaching hours provided in relation to the contracts art. 23 c. 1 and c. 2 of law 240/2010;
2. the number of laboratory hours provided;
3. the number of orientation activities carried out;
4. the number of students enrolled on degree courses.
