OBIETTIVI FORMATIVI

The module provides knowledge and skills concerning antennas, with reference to both their working principles and their use in different applicative fields. The following main topics will be addressed. Fundamentals of electromagnetic radiation and antenna parameters. Linear antennas, aperture antennas, reflector antennas, printed antennas. Antenna Arrays. MIMO systems for multimedia communications. Smart and reconfigurable antennas. Wide band antennas for high–speed internet links. Antenna systems for industrial, civil and biomedical applications.

Important notice: Until the end of the covid-19 pandemic, and in any case until further nitece from UNIGE, the exams will be performed only online using the Teams platform. It is therefore necessary that you are equipped with a microphone and webcam capable of showing you and the work surface. As soon as the list of members is consolidated we will communicate the team code with which you can attend the exam and the exam schedule (whihc will depend on the number of booked students).
