OBIETTIVI FORMATIVI

The goal of the course is providing the principles of transport planning in relation to different geographic and temporal scales, the functional design of transport infrastructures and services, as well as the tools for their economic sustainability.

The goal of the course is providing the principles of transport planning in relation to different geographic and temporal scales, the functional design of transport infrastructures and services, as well as the tools for their economic sustainability. Part of the activity will be developed in the transportation laboratory so as to improve the simulation skills.

The course will develop the following arguments: Traffic data collection and analysis, Traffic simulation, Traffic light design, Functional design of traffic networks, Transit design, Strategic and tactical transprotation system planning
