STEEL STRUCTURES
AIMS AND CONTENT
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Basis of steel design for civil and industrial buildings are considered in the course, both with theoretical approach and practical applications
AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES
Most common typologies of steel structures for civil and industrial buildings are considered in the course and the basis of design are introduced in line with the international standard. In particular, static behaviour of welded and bolted joints, design criteria for members with different loading conditions as well as their connections are considered. Practical applications are proposed
