AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Through examples of the experimental activities with limited length and easily reproposed in the school context, it will be recognized in the daily environment, literature and communication media some arguments of earth sciences' relevance in order to  learning to use them in teaching and highlighting the educational potentials.

B) EARTH COMPOSITION: 1) PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE EARTH; 2) METEORITES AND THEIR CLASSIFICATION; 3) CHARACTERS AND CLASSIFICATION OF SEISMIC WAVES; 4) DISCONTINUITY CONCEPT; 5) FLOW DIAGRAM INTERNAL MODELING OF THE EARTH; 6) BOUGER'S ANOMALY AND ITS MEANING; 7) CONCEPT OF ISOSTASY.
