OVERVIEW

The course aims to acquire the skills in identifying and correcting visual defects and applying the methods of using perimeter techniques.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquire knowledge concerning the physical mechanism of refraction and their application at the level of the eye. In particular, understand phenomena related to the anomalies resulting from reflaction defects and their risks/benefits of the different correction system available, tempiar lens, contact lens and refracrtive surgery.

The exam focuses on the the topics covered during the lectures, but also aims to evaluate the ability to deepen knowledge of s correct teminology and the proper way to introduce the subject in a simple, professional way.
