AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquiring the fundamentals of food science and biochemistry of nutrition, with specific reference to the correlation between food and physiological and pathological own characteristics. Knowing the main food characterization methods. Knowing and applying the principles of environmental hygiene, biochemistry and toxicology, in order to conduct surveys and evaluation aimed to the certification of safety of products and medicines.
