AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

To deepen the clinical knowledge in the places of cure and rehabilitation and the professional rehabilitative competences in psychiatric field.
Knowing how to plan and implement specific programs aimed at the development of skills and functional recovery of the disabilities encountered.

To implement knowledge and skills, related to knowledge, know-how to do and know-how to be, defined in the specific objectives of the Internship module II year, as well as in the detail of the overall objective of the same module, to which reference is made.

Teaching methods

The laboratory is annual and includes active teaching methods and direct participation of students in individual activities, in small groups and in large group. You can use:

  • specific lessons, exercises
  • exercises with simulations on relational skills
  • guided reading and application to case studies
  • demonstrations of images, diagrams and materials, graphs
  • case discussion
  • discussion of cases in sub-groups with presentations in plenary sessions
  • simulations and role playing
  • observation of dialogues with structured grids
  • self-learning

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The following contents will be discussed in the workshop activities, with specific reference to the psychiatric therapeutic-rehabilitation field:

The project
Proposition of different structured and standardized assessment instruments
Experimentation of EBM rehabilitation techniques and use of related protocols

RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY

Didactic material will be provided, together with tools for structured assessment.
Students are encouraged to research scientific articles, texts or evaluation tools on their own account, so as to facilitate autonomous capacity for active research and study

Eligibility, evaluation in progress and final.

Assessment methods

Evaluation in progress regarding participation in the practical tests of laboratory activities and the progressive acquisition of skills. Final evaluation through a test with open and closed questions concerning the contents of the laboratory practice and / or paradigmatic situations of professional practice, related to the contents themselves. In addition to understanding, the ability to apply the transversal and specific skills acquired will be ascertained
