LEARNING OUTCOMES

The goal of the course is providing the principles of transport planning in relation to different geographic and temporal scales, the functional design of transport infrastructures and services, as well as the tools for their economic sustainability.

The goal of the course is providing the methodolocial and analytical tools for

  • transport planning in relation to different geographic and temporal scales
  • the functional designing of transport infrastructures and services, as well as the tools for their environmental and economic sustainability

More in detail, students will learn how to:

  • model the transport infrastructure and services supply
  • analyze and estimate the people and frieght mobility demand
  • model and understand thei supply-demand interaction and dyncamics
