The course consisting of two modules aims to provide an advanced understanding of the fundamental principles and topics of general physiology and pharmacology. The knowledge of the main aspects of Physiology, which studies the functioning of living systems from the cell to organ/apparatus, is provided in the first module as the understanding of physiological systems is the basis of the study of drugs, their mechanisms of action and qualitative-quantitative interactions with the organism and determines its therapeutic effect.

The final mark will be determined by considering the achievement of the specific objectives of both courses.
