GENERAL AND SPECIAL PEDIATRICS
OVERVIEW
The teaching offer of acute or chronic endocrine diseases, diabetes and metabolic disorders in children will be focused on clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects, as well as on the nurse's perspectives on the management of genetic, congenital and acquired conditions from the neonatal period to end of adolescence.
AIMS AND CONTENT
LEARNING OUTCOMES
To expand the knowledge of the most common acute and chronic diseases in the pediatric age. To acquire skills on the mainl surgical procedures and related-complications. To learn the basic elements with respect to the main classes of drugs, their therapeutic uses, response variability, the side effects and the toxicity of drugs and substances abuse.
AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES
The learning objectives of the student will be directed towards the diagnosis and management of therapies of endocrine, diabetes and metabolic disorders in children, from the point of view of nursing need.
