AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The aim of the course is to give students the basic methodological and sw tools for being able to analyze complex logistics and transportation systems. The main performance indices will be described and evaluated. The course is aimed at developing discrete event simulation models, including their input and output analysis. Main topics: - Discrete event simulation models - Input and output analysis - Performance evaluation - Queuing theory - Petri Nets
