COMMUNITY HEALTH PREVENTION
Teaching is aimed at deepening the general concepts of education and promotion of community health and medicine in the public health sector for health care professionals.
Learing outcomes are: providing the definition of health need of individuals and communities and describe their current sources of detection and possible research models; knowing the main health problems posed by population movements; providing in-depth knowledge of socio-economic phenomena at the basis of marginalization, migration and poverty, and their consequences on health; illustrating specific methodological tools for situation analysis, programming and implementation of interventions, and evaluation of their effectiveness.
LEARNING OUTCOMES (FURTHER INFO)
The Integrated Course provides fundamental notions of the Methods and Techniques of Prevention. The following objectives in learning the "Health of the Community" are: to acquire the general concepts of education and promotion of health and of community medicine in the field of Public Health; learn the methodology used by community medicine; know about community prevention interventions in different age groups (childhood, school age, adolescence / young age, adults and the elderly). The training course aims at deepening the role of health care practitioner in the framework of Community preventive paths.

Compulsory written test. The test consists of a sequence of 30 quizzes, multiple response with 4 response options of which only one is correct. There is also an open question in which the student can answer briefly. To get through the exam you need to get enough (18/30). The exam rating ranges from 18 to 30 and praise (all correct answers and comprehensive open question). The written procedure was chosen to ensure the objectivity of the evaluation. This methodology can properly assess the achievement of the training objectives.
Written exam on the topics discussed in lesson. The teacher will provide slides (material presented during lessons and in-depth material) to students by inserting them into aulaweb unige.
